MATTHEW RUSH (GREG GROVE)

Born in Pennsylvania in 1972, Greg Grove auditioned for the Ringling Brothers Clown College before choosing to pursue work as a personal trainer.

Fascinated by superheroes, Greg created an alter-ego of his own in Matthew Rush, the hyper-muscular gay porn superstar who signed a lifetime contract with Falcon Studios. He has starred in numerous titles including Bootstrap, Cross Country and The Velvet Mafia.

Recently, Matthew Rush has appeared in a couple of non-porn features, playing Dik Steele in Third Man Out and go-go dancer Ryder in Another Gay Movie.

Currently based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, he spoke with Mark Adnum via email in June 2007.

MARK ADNUM: How do you imagine your life today, Greg, if you'd followed your teenage dream of being a professional circus clown?

MATTHEW RUSH (GREG GROVE):
I don't think it would be quite as exciting. To anyone who knows me personally, I'm a big clown anyway. Now, I get to be a "Gay Erotic Video Personality" with a sense of humor! What could be better than that?

MA: Have you ever used a Matthew Rush Supercock dildo?

MR: If I wasn't so busy typing out these answers, I'd slap you. Ewww! I've never used it and never will.

MA: Have you encountered racism in the gay porn industry? How do you think your career would have panned out if you were more-than-half black?

MR: I was told that Black Inches wouldn't print a layout of me because I wasn't black enough. That is the only time that I've ever been discriminated against. Being biracial has definitely been a big help because I'm not the typical blond haired, blue eyed boy next door.

MA: What do your parents think about your career?

MR: Shh! They don't know about it.

MA: Do you ever get lonely? Do you consider yourself famous?

MR: Do I ever get lonely? Not as long as I have my right hand! I think to be famous, you have to be known by more than ten percent of the population.

MA: What would you change about your appearance? What cosmetic surgery would you have?

MR: I think a persons imperfections make them sexy so I wouldn't change anything about my appearance with cosmetic surgery.

MA: Have you ever dressed up as Wonder Woman?

MR: No, but I have still have a strong desire to run around in satin tights and fight for your rights.
